Uttarakhand hikes annual scholarship for Engineering, Medical, PhD education of wards of Ex Service men

On the eve of Uttarakhand’s 11th foundation day, the Uttarakhand CM announced some gifts for specific groups of people.

In total, the Chief Minister B C Khanduri made 28 announcements. One of these is for the Ex-Service men (ex Armed forces personnel):

The Uttarakhand government has increased the annual student scholarship for the Engineering and Medical education of the dependents of Ex-Service men from Rs 12000 to Rs 24000. The annual scholarship awarded to the children of ex-service men for PhD has also been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000.
