New PG Diploma in Urban Planning and Development from IGNOU. Post Graduate Diploma Programme Commencing July 2014.

School of Extension and Development Studies of IGNOU has launched an innovative Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Urban Planning and Development. The Post Graduate diploma programme is first of its kind offered through distance mode in India. Objective of IGNOU PG Diploma in Urban Planning and Development The programme designed with the help of experts from the field of urban development aims at deepening the knowledge and understanding of the learners about the importance of urban planning and development. Ideal for : Those who are currently working in urban planning and development. The functionaries and elected representatives of local self government, and other personnel working in the urban sectors i.e. engineers, real estate developers, architects and so on. Eligibility for IGNOU PGDUPD : Any graduate can take admission in this PG Diploma programme. Time Window to complete the Programme : The duration of the PG Diploma in Urban Planning and Development programme is one year, however, student can complete it within a span of three years.
