There are broadly two kinds of people visiting Rishikesh -- 1) Those with spiritual inclination and 2) those with Adventure in their minds.

While the first group obviously searches for Yoga and meditation courses in Rishikesh; the later group heads straight up to the White Water Rafting in Shivpuri, situated along the upper turbulent course of river Ganges(Ganga).

Those visiting for White Water Rafting in Rishikesh; can now add another adventure to their list of do-ables (along with trekking and sight seeing in Rishikesh) -- The Bungee jumping.

The latest attraction among adventure freaks visiting Rishikesh, the Jumpin Heights, Rishikesh, has been set up some kilometeres ahead of Laxman Jhula on the Badrinath Highway(rishikesh ---> RamJhula Or Geeta Bhawan Or Swarg Ashram ---> Laxman Jhula). It is India's only extreme adventure sports zone. The free fall is 83 Meters. And the entire rush completes in 3 minutes; for which you will have to pay around Rs 1500. But that's justified.

So will you try Bungee Jumping in Rishikesh? You will, if you don't have mortal fear of heights.
