Uttarakhand Open University to offer Post graduation, PhD in Mass Communication from this session
Uttarakhand Open University, Unchapul, Kaladoongi Road, Haldwani (Nainital) 263139, Uttarakhand is to offer Post graduation degree(Master in Mass Communication (MAMC) degree) and PhD in Mass Communication from this session, informed the University Vice-Chancellor Mr Vinay Kumar Pathak.
The minimum educational eligibility for the the Post graduation degree in mass communication (Master in Mass Communication or MAMC degree) is graduation degree from any recognized university. Notably, 200 students have already registered for the MAMC degree at UOU.
Until now, HNB Garhwal University Srinagar was the only university in Uttarakhand offering PG degree in Mass Communication.
With this, the UOU has joined the select club of Universities offering post graduate degree and PhD in Mass Communication, informed the VC.
