UPES Dehradun Placements Batch 2010-12 in-progress | Half of students recruited by 85 companies
UPES Dehradun OR University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun is currently busy with its placement process for the batch 2010-12.
Half of the batch is already being recruited by 85 companies. In number terms, this is more than 210 students placed from the nine MBA programs offered by the university.
Average packages this year are 20 per cent higher than last year. The highest CTC (cost to company) offered so far is Rs. 15 lakh per annum. Notably, UPES has a consistent track record of 80 per cent and above placements right from its inception. The University is seeing the considerable average CTC hike across all other programs.
Some of the notable companies visiting the UPES Dehradun campus this year are:
Accenture, Bharat Petroleum Ltd., Blue Dart, CRISIL, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India Pvt Ltd, GAIL India Ltd., GENPACT, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Infosys, ITC Ltd., Jindal Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra & Mahindra, PriceWaterCoopers Pvt. Ltd, Reliance Industries, Spicejet, Tata Consultancy Services etc.
