Char Dham Yatra begins April 24

Bearshare of tourism revenue for Uttarakhand comes from the Char Dham yatra or the religious tourism in Uttarakhand.

The six-month long pilgrimage to four Hindu shrines Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri, popularly known as the 'Char Dham Yatra'; gives an opportunity to all earn to an array of professionals.

The Char Dham Yatra season this year is beginning from Tuesday, April 24.

While the shrines of Badrinath will open for the devotees on April 28, and that of Kedarnath on April 29; Yamunotri and Gangotri will be opened on April 24 itself.

It is expected that around 50,000 pilgrims will be coming to Shrines this year.
