The ghats of Haridwar in Uttarakhand (not necessarily Har-ki-Paeri) became part of many movies. Not only Bollywood, Kollywood, bhojpuri, but also some Hollywood productions. But still seeing Haridwar in a movie is a delight. Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu-starrer Tamil film 'Sigaram Thodu' will be another movie which will have Haridwar.

The shooting of 'Sigaram Thodu' started today at Chandi Devi Temple in Haridwar. The temple is on a northern hill top, where you can reach either by trekking or by ropeway (in hindi Hindola - Chandi Devi Hindola).

Monal Gajjar is paired opposite Vikram in the film, which also features Sathyaraj, Satish and Kovai Sarala in important roles. The movie is directed by Gaurav(of 'Thoonganagaram' fame) and produced by UTV motion pictures.
