IGNOU is planning to offer Post Graduate Diploma in RTI (PGDRTI) from 2017 January Cycle. Read for more details. IGNOU Post Graduate Diploma in Right to Information (PGDRTI)Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is working with the Central Information Commission (CIC), to create a Post Graduate Diploma in Right to Information (PGDRTI). The PG Diploma in Right To Information Act will be mandatory part of training for all Central Government employees. It will be open to everyone, including prisoners, as well. Thus anyone who would be interested in doing PG Diploma can do so. The IGNOU PG Diploma Course will be offered by the Faculty of Public Administration at IGNOU's School of Social Sciences. The curriculum for the IGNOU PGDRTI course will be much extensive and intensive than the RTI Certificate Course and will be for those people who want to learn about RTI in a detailed manner. The Right to Information Act has been really effective in getting information from Government Institution, ever since its launch in 2005. The IGNOU PGDRTI will be for those people who want to establish themselves as experts in filing RTIs. The Post Graduate Diploma in Right to Information (PGDRTI) curriculum is finalized. The PGDRTI syllabus will consist of 36 credits comprising 4 Elective Courses and a field based project. The PG Diploma will admit Learners from January 2017 Cycle or Jan-Jun Semester 2017.
