Questions IGNOU Students ask about IGNOU assignment submission and Term End Exams.

Example, I got enrolled in IGNOU Post graduate programme (with yearly examination cycles) in July 2018 session (July 2018 semester). Since the IGNOU study material had not been delivered to me in time, I'm unable prepare the assignments for July TEE 2019. I have following questions:

1. Can I submit assignments for December TEE 2019?

2. Is it mandatory to submit all first year assignments together from the July 2018 assignment section or I can do it separately as per my convenience?

3. If I submit my first year assignments in September for December 2019 TEE will I have to pay fine?

Here are the answer: Answer 1. Yes, you can submit assignments meant for December 2019 if you want to appear in the December 2019 TEE. Assignments are not semester bound, therefore you can submit assignments meant for January-June 2019 semester and; choose to appear in the respective term end examinations either in June 2019 TEE,  December 2019 TEE or any TEE in future. Answer 2. It is NOT mandatory or compulsory to submit all first year assignments together after the completion of first year that is July 2019 assignment. In addition, assignments are semester bound. So if you want to submit assignments in January-June 2019 semester then make assignments meant for January-June 2019 semester (also called fresh IGNOU assignments uploaded every semester on IGNOU website). Answer 3. You can submit IGNOU assignments as per your convenience; and assignments once submitted are valid for entire programme duration.
