Kendriya Vidyalayas to implement New Uniforms from 2012-13 Academic Session
Kendriya Vidyalayas are to implement New Uniforms from 2012-13 Academic Session; hence parents are advised NOT TO BUY new uniforms for their KV going kids; before April 1.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, is to take final decision on Uniform Change by the end of May. Hence, Kendriya Vidyalaya administration has advised parents TO BUY new uniforms for their kids, when the schools reopen in June 2012.
Notably, in this regard, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has already issued advisory to its approximately 1000 KVs across India.

But you don't need to panic, as the KV Sangathan has already instructed the schools to be lenient on student, until the news fully percolates.
Parents are thus advised not to haste in buying the new uniform. They have always the option to use the old uniforms, until the situation becomes clear.
