57000 Anganwadi vacancies to be filled soon
The Union Governemnt is soon to fill 57000 Anganwadi vacancies in various states of the country, including Union Territories.
The announcement in this regard is made by Union Woman and Child Welfare Minister.
Out of these Anganwadi vacancies, the highest number of vacancies are in West Bengal -- 10,388. Followed by Uttar Pradesh with 8672 vacancies.
At present there are 14 lakh Anganbari workers in the country. It's mandaotry to have at least one Aanganwadi worker at each Aanganwadi Centre.
