HNB Garhwal University, a Central University, has barred Pre PhD students from applying for and taking admission in any other HNB Garhwal University Programme. An affidavit in this regard was taken from these Pre PhD students.

The university noticed that many Pre-PhD candidates applied for BEd exam. The University has made it clear that if a Pre PhD student is found to be doing some other course from HNB Garhwal University, then his/her Pre-PhD registration will be cancelled.
