After getting elected to Rajya Sabha unopposed yesterday, the new Rajya Sabha MP from Uttarakhand Mr. Anil Baluni among other things made one thing clear to the people of Uttarakhand. He told people that they must not expect him repair road, drains.

Lets congratulate him for making it crystal clear that early.

He is correct when he says that an MP's job is NOT that of repairing drains and roads. His real job is to create broader policies for the welfare of people. Let us hope he spends the funds at his discretion towards strengthening his role of a Law maker. What may his idea of spending that money?
